Of course, I’m a contemporary lover so I’m going to recommend some great Contemporary reads & swoony ones too! CONTEMPORARY LOVERS – RISE UP. (Hamilton reference)
Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone – such a beautiful book about a teenage girl with OCD and finding an escape through poetry.
Zac & Mia by AJ Betts – Great cancer focused book about two teens in remission; we get to see their emotions through their struggles and Zac is a character you’ll love b/c he likes to binge Harry Potter movies and has an obsession with Emma Watson.
Don’t Get Caught by Kurt Dinan – New release! Prank filled story with great character development. The Breakfast Club vibes!
The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider – I always recommend this. Great friend group and focus on tragedies & Oscar Wilde. I love this so much.
Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen – Friendship, bullying and learning to accept yourself. Very cute, life lesson book!
The Heartbreakers by Ali Novak – Stella is an aspiring photographer, she gets a gig with her sisters favorite band when accidently meeting one of the members at a Starbucks on the way to their signing to get autographs for her sister who is in hospital battling cancer. Hard hitting, but very cute and funny!
Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon – Diverse contemporary with excellent writing! Maddy (MC) is allergic to everything, we learn how she copes with this. She writes book reivews 😀

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han – Family is present and one of the main focuses of the story. Lara Jean is my favorite character – this my favorite book btw.
