Five Things Friday #2

fff

TGIF, everyone! I’m very, very thankful that it is finally Friday. My week consisted of reading for the most part, so sorry I have been absent with posting on here and YouTube!

If you missed it, I am going to be doing these every Friday. They are just recapping the top five things that happened throughout the week. Feel free to share with me in the comments your favorite from the week.

#1

1. Always and Forever, Lara Jean

(before // after)

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram…I have been updating my progress on reading the finale of my favorite book trilogy. It came out this week on May 2nd and I’ve been an emotional wreck. I finished just last night and I cried for a solid twenty minutes. SOBBING. These books and characters mean the world to me, I’ve never felt this before with any other book. I’m so thankful for Jenny Han for writing Lara Jean and Peter’s love story.  I’m sad it’s over, but it was a great finale.

2. Cookies!!

Lara Jean always makes me want to bake, it’s inevitable that I will bake something while reading any of the books. But, Twitter was also having a conversation gooey vs crunchy? and I was in need of making chocolate chip cookies by that point! Thankfully, I got my cookie fix and baked some – from the box- this week! Then, I hoarded them in my room in a cookie tin because whenever I bake them…my family devours and I never get any! So, I read, I sobbed and I ate my feelings in chocolate chip cookies… DON’T JUDGE ME.

3. SWEET CREATURE BY HARRY STYLES

So many great music keeps releasing week after week! Harry Styles dropped his next song from his new album coming this month. The song is titled, Sweet Creature and I’m a fan of it! I’ve always been a fan of One Direction and I’m really liking the music the boys are producing as solo artists.

4. Mother’s Day plans ARE Booked!

I decided to surprise my mom for Mother’s Day, and I had to tell her in advance because it’s an event. Now that I think about it, this post will probably make you hungry.. I’M SORRY!! But, I found that in my area a little farther out there is a town that has little shops and happens to do wine tastings. My initial idea was a wine tasting until I found a perfect one! It entails wine tasting with CUPCAKES. Dream come true? I think so!

I love Mother’s Day because my mom is one of my best friends, we’re very close. We always say, we’re like Lorelai and Rory from Gilmore Girls. So, Mother’s Day should be fun! I’ll update on my Instagram story so follow me! @pucksandpaperbacks.

My teacher from high school, one of my favorites…She retired in January. She’s such a sweet woman and I adore her! I came home from work the other day after a awful day and it instantly made my mood better! The card is a Victorian doll-house and she wrote, “I was saving this card for someone special -you!” I love her! It was so nice recieving that, it meant a lot!

That was my week, how was yours?
